Biography

Bryan began studying environmental ethics and ecology in 1995 as a college student. During that time, he lived, researched, worked, backpacked, and canoed in some of North America's most wild ecosystems. From 2002 to 2004, Bryan spent two years living in an agrarian Southeast African village co-managing forestry and agriculture projects with the Peace Corps and the Malawi Department of Forestry.

Since returning to the USA, Bryan has worked as an artist and designer with community groups, children, internationally-recognized artists, architects, governments, and academics. Throughout it all, his work has focused on revealing ecological processes through design.

Bryan also holds a master's degree in landscape architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. His own artwork may be viewed online at www.bryanquinn.org.
